Whaler Manche visited Lahaina, Hawaii according to the The Friend dated 8 November 1858

An item reported the arrival on 25 October of the French (?) whaler Manche, captain Lemercier, 160 barrels whale oil, 1,500 lbs bone, coming from Arctic. Left 30 October for New Zealand.
