Age limits for attending Japanese officer training in 1938

A letter of the German naval attache in Japan dated Tokyo, Japan 22 June 1938 referred to a Imperial decision dated 22 June dealing with the age limits to attend the officer training:

Naval officers age 15-19 years

Engineer officers age 15-19 years

Adminstration officers 15-21 years.

Until then was the minimum age 16 years.
