Part of Hawthorn Leslie M-class destroyers modified design with 4 funnels in stead of the 3 funnels of the Admiralty M-class destroyers. Built under the pre-war 1913-1914 Programme. Laid down by Hawthorn Leslie and Company, Hebburn on Tyne on 9 July 1913, launched on 21 August 1914, completed in January 1915 and sold to be broken up on 9May 1921.
