An item reported the arrival on 13 February at Rosyth of the British destroyers HMS Sturdy (1), Serene (2), Turbulent (3) and Torbay (4) returning from the Baltic.

Part of Admiralty S-class preceded by R- and W-classes succeeded by Modified W-class, ordered in June 1917, laid down with yard number 495 by Scotts, Greenock, Scotland in April 1918, launched on 26 June 1919. commissioned on 8 October 1919 and run aground and lost off Sandiag, island Tree, Inner Heberides on 30 October 1940.
2. Part of Admiralty S-class preceded by R- and W-classes succeeded by Modified W-class, ordered in June 1917, laid down by Denny, Dumbarton, Scotland on 2 Feburary 1918, launched on 30 November 1918, completed on 11 April 1919 and sold to be broken up on 14 September 1936.
3. Part of Admiralty S-class preceded by R- and W-classes succeeded by Modified W-class, laid down by Hawthorn Leslie and Company on 14 November 1917, launched on 29 May 1919, completed on 10 October 1919 and anded over to be broken up on 25 August 1936.
4. F35. Part of Thornycroft S-class preceded by R- and W-classes succeeded by Modified W-class, ordered in June 1917, launched by Thornycroft on 6 March 1919, handed over to the Royal Canadian Navy on 1 March 1938, renamed Champlain, decommissioned on 25 November 1936 and sold to be broken up in 1937.
