An item reported the departure on 13 February of the British destroyers HMS Vectis (1) and Windsor (2) from Portsmouth towards Gibraltar.

1. D51. Part of Admiralty V-class, preceded by S- and Parker classes, succeeded by THornycroft type destroyer leader Ambuscade and Amazon, ordered in July 1916, launched by J. Samuel White, Cowes, Wight on 4 September 1917, completed on 5 December 1917 and transferred to be broken up on 25 August 1936.
2. D42. Part of Admiralty W-class preceded by S- and Parker-classes succeeded by Thornycroft type destroyer leaders Ambuscade and Amazon. Ordered on 9 December 1916, laid down by Scotts Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Greenock, Scotland in April 1917, launched on 21 June 1918, completed and commissioned on 28 August 1918, decommissioned in summer 1945 and sold to be broken up on 4 March 1947.
