French anti aircraft cruiser Colbert laid down according to the Australia Station Intelligence Summary dated 1 February 1955

An item reported that the French anti aircraft cruisr Colbert was laid down at Brest in November 1954 and to be completed in 1958. Full load displacement 11,000 tons and as dimensions 590 x 64.5 x 19.5 feet. Design speed 32 knots. Armament of 8x2-12.7cm/5” guns and 12x2-5.7cm/2.24” guns.(10

1. Ordered in 1943, laid down by Brest Arsenal on 9 June 1954, launched on 25 March 1956, commissioned on 5 May 1959, decommissioned in May 1991 and broken up in 2016.
