An item reported that the harbour of Lorient, France was again available for shipping while the minesweeping operations were finished.

1. German Kriegsmarine built in 1941 a submarine naval base with submarine pens at Lorient, after the war used by the French navy until 1995. When Germany invaded France in 1940 was Lorient already used as a French naval base taken over by the Germans.
