Norwegian cargo ship Hermes seized by the Japanese in 1904

Gross tonnage 1,358 tons. Underway from Moji to Port Arthur. Type cargo coal. Captured near Port Arthur on 9 February 1904. Released on 9 March by Sasebo Prize Court because she left before it was known that the war begun. The war between the Russian and Japanese empires was between 8 February 1904-5 September1905.
