British destroyer HMS Basilisk 1929-1940

Part of B-class destroyers preceded by HMS Ambuscade and Amazon succeeded by C- and D-classes. Laid down by John Brown&Company, Clydebank, Scotland with yard number 531 on 19 August 1929, launched on 6 August 1930, completed on 4 March 1931 and sunk during an German air attack during the evacuation at Dunkirk, Franceon 1 June 1940.
