Part of Admiralty-type or Scott-class destroyer leader preceded by Thornycroft type leader and succeeded by A- and B-class leaders. Ordered under the War Emergency Programme in April 1916, laid down by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead, England on 19 February 1917, launched on 18 October 1917, completeded on 16 January 1918 and sunk after returning from the Netherlands with a small convoy off the Dutch coast by a mine or torpedo [from the German submarine SM U-71?] on 15 August 1918.
