The Sp21. Laid down by Schichau, Königsberg, Germany with yard number 1500 in 1940, launched in 1940, completed on 1 May 1942, surrendered in May 1945, ceded to the USA in February 1946, sold to the Netherlands in 1948, converted into a sand suction dredger by Schram BV, Papendrecht, Netherlands in 1951, broken up by Van Heyghen NV, Gent, Belgium in 1988. Fitted out with heavy catapults for launching heavy flying boats of the types D0 15 and 18.
