Sister ships No. 1 and 2. Ordered under the 1931 First Fleet Replenishment Programme. After the torpedo boat Tomodzure capsized in a gale on 12 March 1934 was she rebuilt in 1935 with a result a decreased speed and an increased displacement. Laid down by Uraga Dock Company on 19 June 1933, launched on 23 December 1933, completed on 24 March 1934, scuttled by British Royal Navy off Singapore on 11 July 1946 and decommissioned on 10 August 1945.
