Part of Type C. HGei-gata last batch. I 46, I 47 and I 48 ordered as No. 376, 377 en 378 under the Maru Kyu Programme. Preceded by Junsen Type B and succeeded by Type D/Sen’yu-Dai Type. Boat No. 376. Laid down by Sasebo Naval Arsenal on 21 November 1942, launched on 3 June 1943, completed on 29 February 1944 and lost east of the Leyte Gulf after 26 October 1944.
