Preceded by Peresvet-class succeeded by Retvizan. Design process started in 1895, laid down by Nikolaev Admiralty Shipyard on 10 October 1898, launched on 9 October 1900, renamed Kniaz Potemkin Tavricheskiy in 1904, Panteleimon in 1905, Potemkin-Tavricheskiy in 1917 and Borets za Svobodu in 1917, decommissioned in March 1918, out of service on 19 April 1919 and broken up in 1923.
