Russian cargo ship Rossiya seized by the Japanese in 1904

Gross tonnage 2,312 tons. Underway from Dalny [Dalian, China?] to Karatsu, Japan. Type cargo general. Captured off Korean south-west coast on 7 February 1904. Appeal rejected, now owned as the Saishiu Maru by the Japanese government. The war between the Russian and Japanese empires was between 8 February 1904-5 September1905.
