British naval officer N. Bettine returned to the Azores in October 1941

In his letter No. 1360 dated Lisbon 2 October 1941 reported the German naval attaché in Portugal to the Oberkommando der Kriegsmarine at Berlin that the British naval officer N. Bettine returned at Ponta Delgada on 28 September according to an Italian source. The naval attaché wrote that it was unknown where he temporarily had been.
