An item reported that the British cruiser HMS Dunedin (1), Castor (2), Cleopatra (3), flotilla leader Valhalla (4) and Wessex (5) were on 11 September lying at Copenhagen, Denmark.

1. Part of Danae or D-class light cruisers, preceded by C-class, succeeded by Emerald-class. Laid down by Armstrong Whitworth, Newcastle-on-Tyne on 5 November 917, launched on 19 November 1918, commissioned on 13 September 1919 and sunk by the German submarine U-124 on 24 November 1941 north east of Recife, Brazil east of the St. Paul’s Rock
2. C-class Cambrian sub-class light cruiser, preceded by Arethusa-class, succeeded by Danae-class, laid down by Cammell Laird, Birkenhead, England on 28 October 1914, launched on 28 July 1915, completed and commissioned in November 1915. decommissioned in May 1935 and sold to be broken up on 30 July 1936.
3. Ordered in 1913 under the 1913-1914 Program. Part of C-class light cruisers, Caroline-sub class, preceded by Arethusa-class, succeeded by Danae-class. Consisted of Caroline, Carysfort, Cleopatra, Comus, Conquest and Cordelia. Laid down by Devonport Dockyard on 26 February 1914, launched on 14 January 1915, completed in June 1915 and sold to be broken up on 26 June 1931.
4. Part of Admiralty V-class flotilla leaders preceded by S- and Parker-classes succeeded by Thornycroft type destroyer leader, ordered in July 1916, laid down by Cammell Laird&Company on 8 August 1916, launched on 22 May 1917, commissioned on 31 July 1917, stricken in 1931 and sold to be broken up on 17 December 1931.
5. Part of Admiralty W-class destroyers preceded by S- and Parker-classes succeeded by Thornycroft type destroyer leader, ordered on 9 December 1916, laid down by Hawthorn Leslie and Company, Tyneside on 25 May 1917, launched on 12 March 1918, completed and commissioned on 11 May 1918 and sunk during a German air attack when attacking German troops closing in Calais, France on 24 May 1940.
