German Harbor Defence Flotilla at Nikolaiev, Ukraine used for transport purposers according to the German War Diary of Admiral Black Sea dated 1 October 1942

An item reported that the whole German Harbor Defence Flotilla at Nikolaiev, Ukraine except for 2 units immediately was to be used by the Naval Training Command for transport purposes along the west Crimean coast. The Port Commander at Sevastopol, Crimea became responsible for the administration. The two remaining vessels were to be used by the Port Commander at Nikolaiev as ferries to the out-station.
