1. Part of Liuzzi-class. Laid down by Tosi, Taranto, Italy on 13 March 1939, launched on 3 December 1939, commissioned on 3 February 1940, converted into a cargo submarine between 1942-1943, codename AquilIa I, seized by Germany at Singapore after the Italian surrender on 8 September 1943, renamed UIT-23 and torpedoed and sunk by the British T-class submarine Tally-Ho while bound for France on 18 February 1944.
2. Part of Marconi-class, laid down y CRDA, Monfalcone, Italy on 15 February 1939, launched on 3 December 1939, commissioned on 15 April 1940 and torpedoed and sunk by the British T-class submarine HMS Tigris after leaving Bordeaux, France on 5 July 1941.
