Awarded on 22 March 1982, laid down by Bath Iron Works, Bath, Maine, USA on 27 February 1984, launched on 31 August 1984, handed over to the US Navy on 13 September 1985, commissioned on 21 September 1985, decommissioned on 29 September 2015 and sunk in a SINKEX operation on 28 September 2025.
