Laid down by Tosi, Taranto, Italy on 23 December 1937, launched on 26 March 1939, delivered on 7 May 1939, scuttled after a fight with the British destroyers HMS Kandahar, Khartoum and Kingston and the sloop Shoreham in the Red Sea on 23 June 1940 and stricken on 18 October 1946.
