Part of the Bogatyr-class cruiser of which were 5 planned but 4 completed preceded by Askold succeeded by Novik. Laid down ar the Sevastopol dockyard, Russia [nowadays Crimea] in 1900, launched in October 1902, completed in 1905, seized by the White forces, part of the fleet of Wrangel, interned at Bizerta, French Tunisia in 1920 and sold to be broken up in 1933.
