Dutch tug Poolzee towing British destroyers HMS Melampus and Mindful toward germany according to the Dutch newspaper Voorwaarts dated 22 October 1921

An item dated Rotterdam, Netherlands 22 October reported that the Dutch ocean going tug Poolzee left the day before Devonport, England towards Lemwerden, Germany towing the British destroyers HMS Melampus (1,037 ton) (1) and Mindful (1,034) (2), built in 1916 to be broken up in Germany.

1. Part of Medea-class, laid down for the Greek navy as Chios by Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, Govan, Scotland in 1914, purchased by the British Royal Navy in August 1914, launched on 16 December 1914, completed on 29 June 1915 and sold to be broken up on 22 September 1921.

2. Part of Admiralty M-class destroyer preceded by L-class succeeded by R-class, ordered in November 1914, launched by Fairfield, Govan, Scotland on 24 August 1915, completed on 10 November 1915 and sold to be broken up on 22 September 1921.
