Harima Zosensho, Harima on 26 March 1938, launched on 18 July 1938, completed on 30 September 1938, requisitioned by the navy on 25 August 1941, registered as auxiliary gunboat on 5 September 1941, conversion by Mitsubishi Kogyo K.K. Shipyard completed on 23 October 1941, torpedoed and sunk by American submarine USS Swordfish (SS-193) in the Kema Bay, Celebes, Dutch East Indies on24 January 1942 and stricken on 5 February 1942. Gross tonnage 4,124 tons, net register tonnage 2,262 tons and as dimensions 360.0 x 50.0 x 29.0 feet. Direct Drive geared turbine propulsion, one screw, horsepower 600 nhp, coal bunker capacity 570 tons, range 5,000 nautical miles/14 knots and speed 14 (normal cruising)-16.5 (maximum) knots.
