Project 09852 which was a reconfiguration as a special operations submarine of an already partly built hull of a Project 949A Antey submarine called by the NATO Oscar II preceded by the Papa- and Charlie-classes and succeeded by the Yasen-class. Laid down by Severodvinsk Shipyard on 24 July 1992, conversion into special projects vessel in 2012 decided, launched on 23 April 2019 and commissioned on 8 Juy 2022.
