Ordered in May 1870, laid down by John Elder&Co., Glasgow, Scotland with yard number 134 in 1870, launched in 1871, delivered to Stoomvaart Maatschappij Nederland on 15 February 1872, rebuilt in 1876, sold on a public auction on 3 May 1897 and broken up at Dordrecht, Netherlands.
