Shipping traffic off Barcelona, Spain according to the Kriegsnachrichten of the Chef des Admiralstabes der Marine dated Berlin 9 August 1917

An item referred to the naval attache at Madrid, Spain who reported on 4 August that the shipping traffic off Barcelona between 30-31 July consisted of 9 steamships and 21 sailing vessels towards Cette [Sète], France, 5 steamships towards Marseille, France, 4 steamships towards Genoa, Italy and 3 steamships towards Nizza [Nice], France. In the same period was Barcelona passed by 119 ships heading to the east and 98 to the east.
