An item referred to a statement of master Marcy of the whaler Napoleon who spoke the American whaler Waverley, ship, 327 tons master [William H.] Vinal, of New Bedford, 1,500 barrels sperm oil, 500 barrels whale oil on 8 February off Chatham Island, New Zealand.(1)
