Dutch tug Zwarte Zee 1933-1962 (Ierse Zee 1962-1966)

Built by L. Smit&Zn., Kinderdijk, Netherlands in 1993, seized by the Royal Netherlands Navy on 10 May 1940 and left Vlissingen, Netherlands towing the uncompleted hull of the Dutch destroyer Hr.Ms. Isaac Sweers to England, capsized during a German bombardement on Dalmouth, England on 20 August 1940, salvaged, dry docked and repaired, added to the Rescue Tug Section of the British Royal Navy as the W 163 since February 1941, returned to her owner L. Smit&Co., Internationale Sleepdienst N.V., renamed Ierse Zee in spring 1962 and towed to N.V. Frank Rijsdijk’s Industriële Ondernemingen, Hnedrik-Ido-Ambacht, Nethherlands on 27 October 1966 to be broken up.
