Belgian cargo ship Anvers lost according to the War Cabinet Weekly Résumé No. 64 of the Naval, Military and Air Situation 14-21 November 1940

An item reported the loss on 13 November of the Belgian cargo ship Anvers, tonnage 4,398 tons, loaded with steel, underway from Philadelphia, USA to London, England sunk when bombed by German aircraft on the position off Rattray Head. Part of convoy. All men saved.
