Dutch Greenland commandeur Dirk Pieters returned home according to the Dutch newspaper Oprechte Haerlemsche courant dated 15 July 1749

An item dated Amsterdam, Netherlands 14 July reported the arrival on 13 July of the Dutch Greenland commandeur Dirk Pieters 5 whales 220 quardelen, deceased.(1)
