An item reported that the British aircraft carrier HMS Furious (1) arrived at Liverpool, England on 7 July retuening from Canada with aircraft and ammunition.(1)

Note

1. Laid down as a Courageous-classs battle cruiser by Armstrong Whitworth, Wallsend on 8 June 1915, launched on 18 August 1916, commissioned on 26 June 1917, reclassified as an aircraft carrier in September 1925 and sold to be broken up in 1948.
