British cargo ship Empire Wind lost according to the War Cabinet Weekly Résumé No. 64 of the Naval, Military and Air Situation 14-21 November 1940

An item reported the loss on 12 November of the British cargo ship Empire Wind, tonnage 7,459 tons, in ballast, underway from Tyne, United Kingdom to Vancouver, Canada sunk when bombed by aircraft on the position 360 miles west of Bantry Bay. Part of convoy. Crew landed at Greenock, Scotland.
