British Fleet Air Arm at Malta attacked an Italian Catania aerodrome according to the War Cabinet Weekly Résumé No. 45of the Naval, Military and Air Situation 4-12 July 1940

An item reported that aircraft of the British Fleet Air Arm at Malta attacked an Italian Catania aerodrome on 6 July dropping 9,000 lbs of bombs setting 4 big fires on in the hangars and workshops.
