Iron-clad battleship, laid down by Chatham Dockyard, England on 18 August 1873, launched on 9 May 1876, completed on 31 August 1877, part of reserve since 1891, modernization cancelled, renamed Indus II in 1904, renamed Akbar in 1915 and sold to the Netherlands to be broken up on 13 May 1921.
