British submarine HMS Olympus damaged in air attack according to the War Cabinet Weekly Résumé No. 45of the Naval, Military and Air Situation 4-12 July 1940

An item reported that during an air attack on Malta on 7 July the British submarine HMS Olympus seriously was damaged.(1)

1. N35. Part of Odin-class preceded by L-class succeeded by Parthian-class, laid down by William Beardmore and Company, Scotland on 14 April 1927, launched on 11 December 1928, commissioned on 14 June 1930 and sunk after hitting a mone off Malta on 8 May 1942.
