Displacement 850 tons, dimensions 88 x 7 x 7 (draught), speed 16 (surfaced maximum)-10 (submerged maximum) knots, 2x1,40 ap engines, 1,00 hp electric motor, 10 tubes of which 5 submerged 1,100 mm gun and a range of 7,000 nautical miles/9 knots while surfaced and 110 nautical miles/5 knots while submerged. One submarine A.G.30 was already under construction and to be completed by summer 1925. It seemed that the construction of the other three was  indefinitely delayed.
