Russian torpedo boat used against the Turks on the Danube in 1877

This was the so-called Russo-Turkish War (24 April 1877-3 March 1878 between the Ottoman Empire and a coalition led by the Russian Empire consisting further of Romania, Serbia and Montenegro. The latter three principalities claimed after the defeat of the Ottoman Empire their formal independence and further more became Bulgaria an autonomous state.
