Soviet submarine Delfin (SHCH-309) wit new net cutter sighted in August 1936 according to report No. 9711 dated 19 February 1937

An item referred to the report dealing with the training exercises of the Soviet Baltic Fleet in August 1936. It supplemented the reports 9697-7040 and 9699-7040. The Delfin (SHCH-309) a Lin type (model 55) was fitted out with a peculair net cutter. The stem had two broad teeth projecting around 50-60 centimeter cm. On the deck about 2 meters distance from the bow was a 1 metre high and about 40-50 cm wide support with on the front part 2.5 saw-like teeth. Two strong cables running from the support to the conning tower had as purpouse the avoiding of nets.
