British anti submarine trawler HMS Cayton Wyke sunk according to the War Cabinet Weekly Résumé No. 45of the Naval, Military and Air Situation 4-12 July 1940

An item reported that German E-boats were several time active in the English Channel and which sunk on 8 July the Britishanti  submarine trawler HMS Cayton Wyke.(1)

1. Launched by Cochrane&Sons Shipbuilders Ltd, Selby, United Kingdom on 20 June 1932, completed and taken over by the British Admiralty in August 1939, commissioned in October 1939 and sunk off Goodwin Sands.
