Part of K- or Acasta-class preceded by Acheron-class succeeded by L- or Laforey-class. The class numbered 20 ships, of 12 which built while using the common Admiralty-design and 8 so-called builders’specials. The Acasta-class was in September 1913 redesignated K-class. Built under the Naval Programme of 1911-1912. Admiralty K-class design. Laid down by Swan, Hunter&Wigham Richardson, Walsend, England on 25 October 1911, launched on 12 October 1912, completed on 2May 1913 and after she collided with HMS Broke in the Battle of Jutland torpedoed by HMS Marksman on 1 June 1916.
