Part of Yonfeng-class consisting of the Yongfeng or Yong Feng, Yongxiang or Yong-Siang, Yongjian and Yongji, the latter two built in China with added poop decks. In fact enlarged seagoing versions of the Kiang- and Chu-classes river gunboats. Built under the 1910 Programme. Laid down by Kiangnan/Jiangnan Dockyard, Shanghai, China in 1914, launched in 1915, completed in 1915, sunk during a Japanese air attack on 25 August 1937, became a harbour ship/depot ship in Japanese service renamed Asuka at Shanghai, converted into an anti-aircraft ship in 1945, sunk in an American air attack at the entrance of the Huangpu River on 7 May 1945, salvaged, recommissioned as the Yen An in 1946 and stricken in 1964.
