Exhibition Varen voor Vrijheid. Museum Katwijk
Launched by Dunlop, Bremner&Co. Ltd., Port Glasgow, Scotland with yard number 341 in 1921, delivered in March 1921 to the Koninklijke Nederlandse Stoomboot-Maatschappij N.V., Amsterdam, Netherlands, left Trinidad on 26 May 1943 underway from Demerara, British Guiana [nowdays Guyana] towards New York, USA and disappeared. Presumably sunk by the German submarine U 55 in the early morning of 28 May 1942 north east of Barbados.
