Part of Regioni-class preceded by Piemonte succeeded by Calabria. Laid down by Cantiere navale fratelli Orlando, Livorno, Italy on 1 April 1889, launched on 23 April 1891, commissioned on 11 July 1894 and deliberately blown up by the Italian navy at Livorno on 13 August 1918. She was scuttled to make Austria-Hungary believe that its espionage network was not corrupted by double agents.
