Japanese attack on Aleutian Islands expected according to the U.S. Joint Intelligence Committee. Daily summary dated 21 February 1942

An item reported that the Alaskan Defense Command expected a Japanese attack in begin spring on the Aleutian Islands to prevent supporting Russian by the Allies and at the same time supporting a Japanese attack on the Maritime Provinces.
