An item reported the arrival on 9 August in the harbor of Honolulu the American whaling barque Ospray, Hoyer of New Bedford, 14 months out, 650 barrels, entered the harbour due to illness of her master, recently coming from the north westward of these islands, left Tahiti, Society Islands on 10 May.
