Australian whaler William the Fourth visited Bay of Islands according to the Australian newspaper The Sydney Gazette and New South Wales Advertiser dated Thursday 27 March 1834

An item reported the arrival of the schooner Columbine returning from New Zealand on 26 March. She reported from the Bay of Islands that the William the Fourth, Chamberlain, of Hobart Town, with oil, a full ship, called in on 17 February, leaving homeward bound on 24 February.
