Ordered in November 2001, laid down by Odense Staakskibsvaerft on 26 November 2003, launched on 25 February 2004, completed on 1 July 2004, commissioned on 19 October 2004. Until October 2020 classified as Flexible support ship L 16 sinc ethen as anti submarine warfare frigate.
