Part of Balder-class built under the Mutual Defense Assistance Program (MDAP) and paid for by the USA. Used for patrolling along the Dutch coast and in waterways. Laid down at the Rijkswerf Willemsoord, Den Helder, Netherlands on 12 September 1953, launched on 24 February 1954, commissioned on 6 August 1954, decommissioned on 1 January 1985 and sold to be broken up to Simmeren Schroot B.v., Groningen, Netherlands on 5 June 1985.
