American whaling barque Commodore Preble visited Hobart, Tasmania according to the The Britannia and Trades’ Advocate dated Thursday 7 February 1850

An item reported the arrival on 3 February at Hobart of the American whaling barque Commodore Preble master Lamphin from the South Seas with oil and bone.
